Here are the exciting highlights from this week:

• Well done to our swimmers in Y5/6 who participated in Monday's swimming gala. They came third overall which is a fantastic achievement!
• On Tuesday, a dentist visited school and talked to all of the children about the importance of oral hygiene.
• Some of our younger children were very excited on Wednesday when they were outside at the same time as a fighter jets flyover! It was incredible to see the planes in the sky!
• We have ended the week with HMRC visiting KS2 classes to teach them all about tax and start their journey of financial learning!

Plus, here are some totals from our recent fundraising activities:

• Year 1's total raised £168.30 for Comic Relief, thank you to everyone who donated.
• After our Great Athletes event, the sponsorship money stands at an incredible £2952. We can't wait to get our PE vouchers to spend on sports equipment as a result of everyone who worked so hard to get sponsored. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this.

Next week's updates:

• All enrichment clubs have ended. Summer Term Enrichment Clubs for Reception - Year 6 go live on ParentApp on Friday afternoon and close on Monday morning.
• On Wednesday, the hot dinner option of the roast dinner is being replaced by pasta bar for one week only.
• Easter Bingo is taking place on Thursday after school in the main hall. See the poster below for more details!
• Reception - Year 6 optional homework projects should be brought in by Thursday at the latest.
• Nursery children finish for Easter on Thursday 3rd April at the usual end of day time.
• Reception - Year 6 children finish for Easter on Friday 4th April and school closes one hour earlier (2:15/2:20). Our paid after school club also closes one hour earlier (4:45PM).
