Weekly Blog - A2/Week 5
With the Christmas Fair bringing Week 5 to a close, we have now got only two weeks left of school before Christmas. Despite this, there's still a whole host of events still to come, plus a lot of brilliant learning, so with no time to spare, let's get straight into this week's blog.
Thank you to everyone who attended the PTA's Christmas Fair this evening (Friday 6th December). We will send out information in the coming days/weeks about the amount raised but please can we take this opportunity to thank everyone who volunteered their time to help run stalls etc. Thank you also to everyone who has kindly donated items for the tombola, Elfridges and other stalls. We really appreciate it!
Key Events
On Christmas Jumper Day (next Friday, 13th December) Year 3 are raising money for Save The Children which is their class charity. We are asking for pupils to bring in a £1 donation in exchange for wearing their Christmas Jumper. Children can wear their own clothes with their Christmas Jumper. In addition to this, we have a clothes rail in the school foyer and we are continuing to encourage parents/carers to bring in old jumpers and swap them in advance of Friday.
Let's take a look at the highlights from this week. We hope you enjoy watching them and we wish you all a fantastic weekend. Looking forward to seeing everyone back in school on Monday!
